I used to listen to music a lot when playing other games but I find awareness of footsteps and stuff is really important in DB, so not easy to get music on and concentrate entirely on the game, so negatively affects my performance. I do really enjoy the ingame music though, I wish there was a bit more variety but it adds a lot of atmosphere. One of the round-end tracks in particular which is mostly just percussion really adds a lot of tension, most multiplayer FPS games the music gets turned off straight away.
One of my favorite game soundtracks and probably my favorite song from the francise, with maybe this coming a close second, or maybe some Running from Evil

@blonk Into Sandy’s City is my favourite as well. There are so many great tunes in the first 2 games. “Running from Evil” and “Nobody Told me about id” are no exception.
“I Sawed the Demons” and “Suspense” are probably my favourite ones from DOOM. “Into Sandy’s City”, “In the Dark” and “Running from Evil” are the ones I would pick from DOOM II

I don’t. When playing DB or other competitive FPS games I find adding my own music too distracting and performance impacting.
When I’m editing my own videos for YouTube however, that goes out the window. Lately I’ve been sticking with old-school sounding Heavy Metal like Enforcer.
