W:ET. I started just after RTCW and hated ET:QW and Brink was meh.

W:ET then ET:QW, the only two online games I’ve thoroughly enjoyed and stuck with.
W:ET drew me in from the start with the Fueldump only beta, played right up until ET:QW, by that time I was burned out with ET, a lot of what made the game fun for me has been eroded away in competition with ever increasing restrictions and such, public play wasn’t an option no more due to the sheer amount of crap mods on seemingly every server going and god forbid you try do the objectives (you know, the actual point of the game) on an etpro public server…
ET:QW came along and was a breath of fresh air, I didn’t mind the future setting, the aliens nor the vehicles one bit, the deployables weren’t great though but not nearly as bad as people make out, I would have reduced the amount of deploy spots personally however. When ET:QW Pro finally arrived and brought in some restrictions and such I found the matches were far more fun than that of ET, despite the engine’s shortcomings. If the game has another year in development it could have been something really special.
I’ve also enjoyed making custom maps for both games and contributing to various mods.
RTCW was before I had a PC so never really played it, tried it a couple of years ago though when got it on Steam in some bundle, didn’t play long enough to have an opinion on it.
