What merc should u buy at the first time ?

I think bushwacker us the first merc u guys should buy. What your opinion ?

Turtle, because they announced that Bushwacker is going to be free merc in future. But if you grind for skins, then yes. They probably give something to compensate for those who already bought it.

If you dont play much and expect to be fine with only one engineer. Then something like Arty and Sawbonez/Phoenix will be mandatory for competetive team. Maybe Guardian as wildcard. It’s just better to have them all. Takes about 50 levels or less to grind them all?

I’d recommend Phoenix for playing medic, Nader for assault, Stoker for fire support, and Turtle for engineer. Nobody should buy recon for their first merc.

it definitely takes less than 50 levels to unlock all the mercs though. I had them all around level 30 on my main account(but that was before they changed prices and added more mercs to be fair) and i’ve actually started a smurf just to see how long it takes to unlock all the mercs with pure credit grinding. It’s like level 12 and i’ve already gotten turtle, nader, bushwhacker, and phoenix.

Phoenix or Sawbonez first. They’re assault-y enough to give you a taste of the rest of DB, but still medic-y enough that you have something to fall back on if you’re not doing well in combat.

But other than medics, Proxy was my first engi too, but looking back on that it’s probably best to go for someone with a more forgiving amount of HP. Although all the other engineers are kinda boring to play though besides fletcher, who’s too complicated for a new player anyways, so idk.

All the firesupports are good too, but I’d go for the ones without burst rifles.

A new player shouldn’t be playing full assault mercs or recons at all though. Their playstyles are too limited to give a new player a good impression of how the game plays out

Well, it depends.

If you played Skyhammer quite a lot, you could start with mercs such as Turtle, Arty, Sawbonez, Guardian, Javelin, Fragger, Thunder, Nader or Phoenix.

If you played Aura quite a lot and got used to having 80 HP, you can risk it and buy squishy mercs such Proxy , Kira or Sparks.

I highly advice to avoid grabbing those squishy mercs though, you should start with the mercs that have over 90 HP, then you could attempt to grab those squishy mercs.

I also advice to not buy any recon unless you know you have a good aim, if you do have a good aim, Vassili is always a solid choice for begineers, if you got used to having low HP, then you could try Aimee, making the enemy get 25% more damage from bullets is always helpful for you or your team.

I would pretty much suggest to buy the least expensive mercs first. This helped me to get out skyhammer/aura poisoning and kept me interested in the game.
