Fun, relatively complex, good selection of mercs with unique abilities and gameplay, objective -orineted, plus im a fan of ET. If they will continue to expand game, then its gonna be new ET, in terms of setting up standards(and i mean standards, not this shit, when big dev studios release yet another, extremely buggy primitive so-called AAA title for 59.99, piece of programming manure and call it “next-gen”).
Besides, what else there is to play. 99th clone in CoD franchise or this ridiculous garbage like new Battlefront, games that require minimal spinal cord activity(brain is not needed) and are boring as hell ?

A variety of reasons, the fact that the game favors the objective rather than just being a mindless deathmatch is refreshing. I’ve always considered stuff like team deathmatch the most dull gamemode in any shooter. The game in general is fun (except Stopwatch for me, takes way too long for me to like it). Redeye is also a reason I like playing, he’s one of my personal favorite mercs to use because of his unique style, I’m also fond of using both Proxy and Sawbonez as well in my squad with Proxy having the most kills presently for me and Redeye in second place. Sawbonez just suits my style as a medic.

380 hours here, mainly log in for the missions if I don’t have much time, but still wanna get my daily dose of DB.
Otherwise if I have more time, I usually still just log in for missions and then just pick up some unfinished game on steam before yet another steam sale…(winter sale incoming).
I really enjoy the gameplay, the skillceiling compared to most of the other shooters, here a pro can take out as many beginners as many bullets he has to be honest(if he can get to them one by one), but in other shooters, a beginner can take out a pro just by accident really.
DB just defines better the level of skill of yourself among others.

The gameplay, seriously one of the best shooters I have played. Beats everything else out there right now unless you prefer Tribes, Quake, etc

I have a bit over 300 hours in the game and I still keep playing this game, because it’s fun.
Also I try to improve myself and become a better player than I was yesterday.

The amazing gameplay, such a unique title that I just can’t bring myself to play any other pvp fps anymore.
I didn’t need a cash incentive… and I came from CS.
No you CAN’T, you need to show your amazing colbalt libary with literally everyone, even hack your way into level 5 servers and just go “LOOK, LOOK AT THIS, I AM YOUR GOD, BOW TO ME”

I came from Enemy Territory, and after a couple years playing Modern Shooters, I found Dirty Bomb, and it was on the perfect spot, between the Classic and the Modern.
The gameplay is great, the mechanics are solid, the game is free and not Pay-2-Win. Even knowing that a lot of things are behind a pay-wall, everything is pretty balanced, you can do great by playing with Default Aura/Skyhammer if you have skill enough. Also, with a couple hours you can get everything (not including cosmetics) by just playing the game. And I kinda like this, it rewards players that invest time/money on the game, but at the same time doesn’t make things unfair for people who can’t do the same.
