I have no idea what the DPI is on my mouse, or really any specs about it. It’s just an old HP one.

I previously played at max sensitivity and FOV. Now I’m at a low sensitivity and lowest FOV.

The switch was insane, but worth it. Max sensitivity and FOV was fun though. It’s great for Aura/Proxy shotgunning.

if i move my mouse to the left with my wrist i turn about 40/45 degrees.

why the high DPI? why buy a 60 bucks 10k DPI mouse and only use a DPI of 500

Because the mouse works best at its native DPI. Higher DPI is absolutely not better, if you go too high it’s just bad, very bad. You buy a expensive gaming mouse like that for it’s precise sensor. Having such a low sens is also a bad idea in Unreal Engine games.

What he said, typically the sensor performance affects a lot of things but most mice perform fine at 400 and 800 dpi.
