Unfortunately I’m part of the top percentile. Even at peak hours during the weekend it takes an hour or more to find matches, so until the population grows and more people play ranked I’m not going to queue up as often.

I’m hoping Splash Damage will give more incentive to players to try out ranked because I’m not a fan of friendly fire being turned off in any video games. Perhaps they’ll eventually come to their senses and turn FF on in a few public servers so anyone who does want more of a challenge will spend their time there when we’re not queueing for competitive so we’re not stomping on the public players all the time.

That would be like kids cursing each other every 10 seconds ,considering most people don’t care to call out AoE strikes in pubs .

Regarding ranks, by the way: why is Gold 5 the “standard” rank? That’s too high, pretty close to cobalt. Silver 5 or at least 3 should be the default.

Poll has no option for none.
I have no rank as I have never played comp & don’t want to play comp as I detest being tied into games.
I do however have over 700 hours played & is lvl 39 :smiley:

Was gold then I several bad games, and now I can’t even get into a comp match to redeem myself.
