There seems to be a problem with NVidia’s Detonator drivers in their 40.xx versions, and looks like it’s got to do something with the fog. It’s annoyingly noticeable on maps which have a fogged sky. In the map I’m making for example, the sky is fogged (I toggle fog on and off with code to create a lightning effect), and due to this bug, the sky seems to blink as if fog was being turned on and off constantly. It didn’t happen with 30.xx drivers. Problem decreases as resolution is taken down. Does anyone know what causes this and if it’s fixable? I can’t release my map with this, at least I would like to be able to tell people what to do in case they get the bug…
What is up with 40.xx drivers?

the 40.xx detonator are really strange with skies in q3a and rtcw. in rtcw it flickers at skies and in q3a skies look like a mess of triangles with these drivers
