What is the thing on rhino's back for?

^ In case you don’t know what I’m talking about

Just general curiosity. It isn’t attached to his minigun as far as I can tell, and it seems like it would just weigh him down even more. Anyone know?

(Jostabeere) #2

How do miniguns spin?

(avidCow) #3

Ammo

(cornJester) #4

It is the ammo. They cannot physically attach it to the minigun without the minigun being present in the model but if you look at the other side there is an opening for the ammo belt to come out.

(Jostabeere) #5

I thought that too. But that golden thing on the side could be a fuel tank. So I would assume its something to completely maintain the minigun. Fuel/power and ammo, obviously. Maybe Nitrogen to cool that minigun off (Nitro augment). But boy, he must have a strong spine.

(Yes) #6

It’s his snail shell.

(XavienX) #7

It’s his fat blubber.

I agree it’s probably both. The fuel goes into the ammo tank which is then attached to the minigun? I mean where else would he store his infinite number of rounds?

(elegantRoyalty) #9

miniguns are generally battery powered electric are they not? it certainly sounds like an electric motor not an internal combustion one.

Its clearly his lunchbox.

(avidCow) #10

It’s a keg for the after-match.

(Ghosthree3) #11

Holy shit it’s perfect.

(TeeKayM) #12

It’s the souls of little kittens.

Its his lunchbox probably…

(mrlong2) #14

One of these.

All those gym sessions he did when he studied turned out to be worth it.

Ammo, since miniguns generally eat thru ammo like crackers. Irl its between 2000 and 12000 rpm(Rhino is on the lower spectrum of that, due to only 3 barrels and the fact that no man could hold anything more powerful). Like yets carry enough ammo to last them maybe a minute of sustained fire.
And probably a battery, since no minigun is powered by other means, due to obvious reasons.
And all miniguns are air cooled. Due to high barrel spin rate, no additional cooling is required.

(RyePanda) #17

Is it part of his hitbox?

(_Sniff_) #18

It is not part of the hitbox. It would be interesting to see it be a constructable, ha!

If you shoot the battery it gets destroyed and unusable until a medic or engie repairs it.

It would make the augment of mechanic on medic mean more.

(misspo) #19

That’s watercooling or some high tech vacuum
