When you get hit by melee you lose a bit of your speed/momentum. It’s especially noticeable when you’re hit by a katana or bat. At least I’ve always felt that way about it. It could all be in my head though too :slight_smile:

Movement speed recovery after being “snared” is probably fast enough that it’s hard to tell the impact.

Wasn’t the snare effect would happen if someone used a heavy attack so they couldn’t spin with them anymore so something like this wouldn’t be a thing anymore?

Even though most melee weapon’s heavy attacks had a bit of a delay to the actual hit, to make them trickier to land.

I find that to be really funny and don’t see why that kind of gimmick was removed. You lose tons of speed doing that and you literally can’t fight enemies at range.
