Looking at the weapon spreadsheet here;
it lists minimum range. What does this do? It also seems really high, like 900 for a pistol? I’ve also read about dps drop off at range, how is this calculated? I’d assume the sniper or battle rifle have a higher dps at range. However, when using the M4 it seems it’s just as good as a battle rifle only has full auto?
Minimum range means up to this point weapons will do the full damage. After that point damage drops off. At maximum range the weapon will do min damage.
At the range inbetween min and max it will do something inbetween (most likely linear drop off, but just guessing.)
Keep in mind that the numbers are in unreal engine units. For reference Naders Martyrdom and Fraggers fragnades have a radius of 240 units.
