(weavile mienfep) #1

so i recently got my steam key (foikin noice :3c) and i input it in steam. and i start the game up.

if it did respond, i wouldn’t be typing this up,

but alas, it did not respond and it stopped working, i’ve tried it again,

and again

and again

and AGAIN.

but it always ends the same way.

dirtybomb.exe (dx9) (32-bit) (not responding)

(dirtybomb.exe has stopped working) yadda yadda yadda.

its not a specific error, just the game being a unresponsive dick,

so umm… got any advice?

the game is offline at the moment, while you’re waiting, take a moment to find the announcement section

Nah, it’s not about the game is offline atm. He should at least start the game and have issue with verification.
What kind of antivirus/firewall do you have?
From time to time I’ve got the same issue (shooterenginge do not respond). Fix for me is to disable the firewall for the time when game starts. Try this.

(weavile mienfep) #4

either kaspersky or malwarebytes

(Fake nick) #5

Have you tried to disable firewall already? If yes, what’s the result?

(TheNinth) #6

Does your rig meet the minimum requirements?

(weavile mienfep) #7

uhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh.

i think?

i dont think that would be good for me, if you take fact that im a newb with the whole " Computron internal/external modificatition things" knowing me, i’d end up disabling the firewall.

PERMANATLY.

yeah, i dont have that much self esteem.

Rather then launching it through steam, launch the game directly from your steamapps folder, and run it as administrator. Some nexon games had this issue in the past.

(weavile mienfep) #9

where is it in the folder?

(BattleBrotherUK) #10

My game also doesn’t launch properly. Launch via steam, xign does its thing, black screen and menu music in the background. Have tried launching .exe file from steam folder but xign thing comes up and then game doesn’t launch. Any ideas?

Run as administrator from game folder, disable antivirus and/or firewall, update your video card drivers, make sure directx support is installed, if that doesn’t work, try verifying game files on steam and/or re-install the game. If none of those help, I’m pretty much out of ideas.
