In my opinion the game needs some sense of progression for long term players. Up until around 200 hours I felt a fun sense of progression in this game as I constantly grinded it in order to unlock every merc in a F2P way. Once I had unlocked all the mercs I wanted I then narrowed down the mercs to my favourite few and have crafted the desired loadout cards that I wanted, but what now?
Once you have gotten the mercs and crafted your desired loadout cards there isn’t any incentive to play, besides ofcourse my love for the game. I do still play the game however it would just be so much more fun if I had something to play for rather than just playing a few games every day till I get bored. I’m not sure what Dirty Bomb could do to create a sense of progression but either way it would be nice if we had something to play for once we have gotten all the mercs and loadout cards.
Also don’t say “play more to get better” because this is a skill that is often developed over a long period of time and I can get better at an FPS by playing any FPS out there, pretty much. So what are your thoughts? What could be improved in order to give longer term players a bigger incentive to play and keep playing?
