My friend and I do a little “play” when starting LoL games. I ask if anyone is into FPSs and talk about Brink, he’ll feign ignorance to get some info out =D

Actually, my comment wasn’t didrected at you not advertising your own work, but rather the implied critisism of other people advertising there own, which point seemed to be entirely missed even with additional explanation.

More in regards to a separate but related issue. People talking about post counts and rep points in arguments was annoying.

I don’t think, I’ve done more to promote the game, therefor my argument/view is more important, has actually been stated in discussions. However, there do seem to be views that this site should exclusively be a Brink fan site and not for discussion beyond favorite faction/char/weapon. Nothing wrong with those topics, simply a limited range. That’s not to say people registering to flame the game is any more constructive.

meh, the favorite faction topic actually segued into an interesting discussion, but besides that one I can’t stand those kind of topics. I mean, how can you have a favorite weapon when you’ve never fired one?

Why I like this place so much, things are much more interesting around here.
