What have you done to help promote?

I’m sure Brink has gotten it’s attention from SD’s rep and people spreading it by word of mouth which is probably what has brought Brink to most peoples attention. I’m wondering what you guys have done to help promote Brink. Again most will probably word of mouth but I know some people here have posted articles on certain websites and even some people have been lucky enough to get interviews with some of the developers! SO what are you doing to help promote Brink?

As for me I made a overview video just to give some people an idea about what its about.

But know I’m starting to see more advertisements for Brink like on websites like IGN, youtube, and even in stores like gamestop. But how much more do you think the advertising will grow since the release is getting oh-so-closer?

I’ve been recommending it to friends in the local Parkour community, and to everyone I know who plays Assassin’s Creed: Brotherhood online.

Both groups are mostly interested in it for the same reasons, which means I can recycle the same sales pitch.

i told the bank teller about brink when i was depositing my per cap and she feigned interest. that offended me so i called the branch manager over and told him about brink and he was super excited.

I’ve used BRINKthegame.com clan tag in quakewars and asked if they gonna buy it. :smiley: Mentioned it in quakelive too, but i guess ql people care less than qw people. And yeah i promoted it in one forum, where there were zero news about brink.

I tell folks that I’m getting Brink and what it is about, when the conversation “What are you gonna get next?” comes up. If it doesn’t come up, I bring it up.
