What happens in all fps games

Im not the best player in the world of
games. This is one of the stupidest experiences I’ve had. I was playing competitive matches and after a while realized some other player named removed who apparently is the best player is calling me out on not playing as well telling me to hang myself cause im trash. I was like WOW DO YOU SUCK THIS MUCH THAT U HAVE TO BLAME ME FOR LOSING and tried to explain its a game and that he doesnt get anything for losing or winning. What are your thoughts on this scrub

Not pulling your weight in comp is a far more serious issue than in pubs, but the real issue is that guy was not playing in a full party, which in turn, makes him foolish.

Also, not sure if this counts, but there is a “no name shame” policy on this forum.

I’ve had experiences where I’m frustrated at team mates, but at least I don’t call them out.

This is an objective (ubh-jekt-tiv) based game and maybe you weren’t playing it. It is quite frustrating to be the only one pushing the objective sometimes.

I’d say just ignore it and try your best. It’s a game afterall.

It happens in every competitive game out there not just fps. Pretty much all you can do is mute and ignore them

If you don’t want to play with people taking the game seriously then don’t play competitive.

You have to take this game super serious. EVERYTHING is on the line. People like whom you mentioned need to get a grip on reality and play the game for what it is, a game.

meh, i run into try hards all the time in every game. i usually just say dumb shit until they either boil over and go insane or laugh. either way, im having a good time and thats all that matters to me.

Taking it seriously does not equal being a jerk, the two are totally separate.

I’ve also been wondering about people that complain about having a ‘bad team’, why do this? What do they hope to achieve by doing that? If it’s true then ok, the team probably knows that, it is not helpful information, all it does is make that person look like a sore loser and a jerk.

The problem with saying just don’t play competitive is now missions require you to, unless you are just going to abandon them and reduce your credit gain.

Hey, Mawo, please try to avoid calling out other players by name. I get the anger, but we don’t want the forums to turn into a place for personal attack to be thrown back and forth, and you really don’t need to name names in order to vent a little.

This. All characters bought and equipped with at least the bronze load out I prefer and 100k credits in the bank. Feels good to click that little “x” and drop missions I don’t feel like doing.

Feel bad for all the people still trying to grind all the mercs and load outs though. Right now the mission system kinda sucks for forcing people to play in a way that isn’t fun for them if they want to maximize credit earnings. Everyone should get the opportunity to re-roll at least one mission per cycle.

[Protip]: When someone on your team says, it’s your fault, stand still and let the enemy kill you or run into the enemy, or call out your team’s position.

It makes them feel better if they can blame everyone else for their own ineptitude. After all, it couldn’t POSSIBLY have anything to do with THEIR performance. THEY’RE infallible - their mom said so!

One of the “perks” of competitive right now - highest concentration of losers, who think that they are god-given gift for the team and every1 should listen to them.
