I was reading Issue #234 of PC PowerPlay and in the Dirty Bomb article it had listed mercs that are not in game but are avatar pictures, so I was wondering if these mercs were just concepts or are being enlisted into the game at a later date?

Those that you listed were all playable in closed early betas. They are getting rebalanced bugfixed and then re-released. Right now at rate of 1 every two weeks. if there is no major roadblock, so don’t worry they are coming.
Will the new free merc rotation and new merc come out this wednesday?
