What happened to BRINK?

The game is dead. When I first bought the game, I used to see most servers are filled. Nowadays, 90% of all the servers are empty and much less people are playing the game.

So what was this? An over-hyped, waste of money? About 30 people on my steam list stopped playing the game because they said it was overhyped + “garbage”, “glitched”, “uncomfortable” gameplay.

I mean the only reason I bought the game was to play with my buddies, but now that they don’t even want to play it, I am discouraged to play it as well. Playing without my buddies makes the boredom come on quicker and I can’t seem to play for longer than 15 min without feeling restless.

The game is getting boring and is feeling dead. Am I the only one? Is this just my group of friends or is this happening to everybody?

About the game getting boring not really, I still have a lot of fun in pubs cept when im respaw camped : P or play security in shipyard lol.

But the thing is that the general concept of brink is great but it does have a lot of flaws and bugs wich we hope gets fixed.

With ping 100 filter the top 3 pages or so are full on my server browser. Mostly I have to try 3 or 4 times to join because I go for 14/16 servers and they’re full by the time my conn goes through.

Same experience for me on the ps3. Absolutely no rooms full, rare to find more than 2-3 players.

I can’t speak for the other platforms. Apparently 360 is faring a lot better, and PC is just fine.

To anyone reading this thread: If you can avoid the ps3 version for now, do. The PC version is apparently fine, I think the OP might be exaggerating it a little.

Lol again dude, why do you try to steer others away cause you personally are having problems and cant find any frineds to play with. I played for over 4 hours last night and got off with 5 friends still on playing last night. Just because no one wants to add you dont make it sound like there is no one to play with, i have been adding alot of players online and many from this site have contacted me about playing. Dont try to sway others decisions just because YOU arent having a goodtime, i want more PS3 players to play with and invite all non DB’s to contact me if they are looking for people to team up with.

this game is totaly unbalanced !! with no fix and map redesign this game gonna die in 2 month !

Allready a lot of empty server and players leave the game ! WHY ?
because the game is totaly unbalanced / and map design always make an advantage for the defense !
so that bored the players and they leave to other games .

So many people who play during years at your old games don’t undertand how it’s happen !
Please SD wake up ! and give us a real fix !

Yeah guys it’s all propaganda. Don’t listen to people who say that the game has issues or that the game isn’t showing its true potential. Don’t listen to people who say that the game has serious matchmaking issues. To all you people who are on the fence about the game, buy it and prepare to be amazed. Or pick up one of many (and I mean MANY) used copies at your local Gamestop so that you can return it if you don’t like it.

Don’t listen to people who say anything negative about this game because they’re lying.

Many who are criticizing the game have not played much, or at all. Not hard to figure out if you see how they repeat the same arguments over and over. I’ve offered suggestions on how to improve the online experience, but it is ignored. If you don’t want to try and learn how to find other people to play with, and don’t want helpful suggestions, then there’s not much that’s gonna improve your experience with Brink. SD can’t make a patch big enough to fix your problem. Nobody can.

Well,the numbers drop RAPIDLY or have dropped rapidly.

It’s not dead but it’s dying and it will be dead in some weeks if they don’t fix their bloody mess called Brink. :rolleyes:
