You Know the thing letting us think about what merc we should use???
What happen to Defender/Attacker
Huh? It’s always been on Stopwatch and still is, and has never been on objective (unless it was on closed alpha), if you mean dividing the teams in lobby before mercs get locked in

What is the actual reason behind that in Objective Mode?
@Jostabeere No, I mean: Why do we have to pick mercs in Objective Mode before the teams are locked in. Ending up in Defenders on Chapel with a Proxy and so on…
There was a time when it would say which team your on in both stopwatch and objective.
It was much easier to pick what mercs to play as when they had them but now you never know which team your on until you in the game and whatever mercs you put on are stuck there.

Ah that one. Yes. I don’t know honestly. Maybe it was removed so for example one team that has the mercs for one side right now won’t have an upper hand by picking them if the other team happens not to have the mercs?

I wish I knew, I’d like it to be a feature on objective too since I mainly play it rather than Stopwatch anyway
Teams are assigned at the end of the lobby to make games more balanced. It works great compared to stopwatch. So there’s no way to know which side you’re on earlier.
Well, technically there could be, but every time someone leaves or joins the teams would need to be reshuffled. Which means you could be constantly moved from attackers to defenders and the other way around. That could actually be worse that the current system, because you could take a risk and pick mercs good for one side and then end up on the other. Now you know you need to take a squad good for both sides.
