What FPS should I be getting?

Running around, and outdoors, I am getting like 15-25 FPS.

I have the most up to date ATI drivers. I know that they are working on the graphics, but I wanted to know if that was the only problem that is holding me back. I know a lot of this is outdated, but it should be doing better than 15-25 fps

Here are my system specs:

OS: Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium 6.1.7600 (Win7 RTM) - 32 bit
Mobo: QuadCore Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600, 2400 MHz (9 x 267)
MSI P6N SLI Platinum (MS-7350) (3 PCI, 1 PCI-E x1, 2 PCI-E x16, 4 DDR2 DIMM, Audio, Gigabit LAN, IEEE-1394)
nVIDIA nForce 650i SLI
3072 MB (DDR2-800 DDR2 SDRAM)

DIMM1: Corsair CGM2X2G800 2 GB DDR2-800 DDR2 SDRAM (5-5-5-18 @ 400 MHz) (4-4-4-12 @ 266 MHz)
DIMM2: Corsair CGM2X2G800 2 GB DDR2-800 DDR2 SDRAM (5-5-5-18 @ 400 MHz) (4-4-4-12 @ 266 MHz)

Display:

I have the same setup as yours and I’m getting 50-80 fps, dipping around 40s on certain areas of certain maps. My setup:

Q6600 @ 3.4
HD 4870 512
4 GB RAM

I’m using the RC3 drivers btw.

Just wait for the patch from SD and Catalyst 11.5a RC4 Hotfix from ATI.Patch comes on monday/tuesday and ATI hotfix should be there too then.
Most of us here are in the same boat as you.

horrible FPS,nearly unplayable.

You should get easy 50-60’ish FPS with your PC it’s the game which is atm ****ed up.

with a 512 card you’ll be lucky to acheive 60 FPS anywhere, but everything on low and the promised new patch/drivers maybe more

i have fps 65-70
1440x900
with everything on only vertical synth is of
textures and shadows on high

AMD Phenom II X4 955 OC 3.6GHz
NVIDIA GYGABYTE GeForce GTX 460 1GB DDR5 OC 800MHZ
MOBO GYGABYTE GA-770T-D3L
RAM 2 GB 1333 CORSAIR

but it still seems like 20-25 fps. and i have sound problems, i only hear my gun, other sounds are much lower.

SLI and Crossfire users are having issues not sure when Nvidia or ATI’s next patch is coming out , but they are supposed to be fixing the SLI and Crossfire.

You could try removing your secondary card and run 1 and see if it makes any difference until you get a working driver for SLI. Not the best fix I know, but it could get you in the game at least.
