Hello My name Is Cryc328 i have just recently been accepted in to the beta, And what i would like to see is a team based Game with objectives Ex:Ctf
(Capture the flag) tdm (Team Death Math) ffa (Free for all) in these game mode there are certain things i would like to see for Ctf I would like to see a medium board but not to big, and very little sniping spots(haven’t played yet don’t know if there are snipers) in Tdm I would like allot of Sniping spots other wise very large boards Free for all i would like no radar because it would be a bit too easy for Hackers not saying there are any but it would be easy if it is on a short board
For Graphics i would like to see minimum Intel Core I3 because that is what allot of experienced games would probley have and if lucky Core I5 or higher (personally i play alto of games but i have core I3 and i struggle a bit)
Over all i would like to be based 3v3 4v4 5v5 or 12v12 last but not least 18v18

Though this isnt a game for TDM or free for all, cqpture the flag is kind of in there already with how some objectives are. I would say a slightly more dynamic map objective could be fun, im thinking of railgun in w:et where the carts could be pushed back and forth depending on your team.

@cryc, i qould suggest jumping into the game this weekend and getting a feel for it. Game is good!

DB is a fast paced shooter, but why do I have to stay around 2 mins in stupid xp reward/lobby screens? make the waiting time shorter!

Thinga I noticed on the last session…

I think this is part of the UE3 since it has happened in other ue3 games but all of the time in graphics settings AAis turned off, motion blur, motion blur pause and depth of field are always turned on. Will there be a fix for this or a way to make a .cfg that makes sure everything stays the same?

I love that all my settings in the menus stuck around from last test so i didnt have to waste time re-config-ing, but my aim seemed off, more than usual too. Have there been any backend changes so that even if my sensativity is set to XX in the menu the actual end sensetivity may have differed. The only thing i can think of is A) im need to readjust to the game B) There actually is some change C) i used a different merc that had a different move speed so that could factor in but that seems unlikely bc it was really off. I should also add im a very high senseivity player, i keep my mouse in the mid 30s and if i remember in et:qw my m_pitch and m_yaw were in the 60s.

Something that I like on the MOBAs : The random character selection.

In DB, this could be a draft mode. At the start of the game, you pick a random card among all cards availables in the game.
Then you can switch your card with the card of an teammate if you want to change the roles.

  • ability to sort your loadout cards. Possible criteria: rarity, per character, last ones you received.
  • ability to change mercs in between matches, so you don’t have to leave the server you are playing on
  • more info ingame about weapon, like firerate, spreadmult, bullets per mag, etc

I agree, my idea is to change seperate mercs in lobby for attack and defence before the stopwatch round starts. I guess they can´t implent merc change during matches because of technical reasons.

Better / “thicker” Ironsights.
Add F6 ready up midgame objective or decrease time to start. We want to get into the action ASAP !
When starting a new game make it only one screen rather then restarting
at the end of game make back to main menu accesible with esc button?
Friendly fire on/off servers? Vote?
Spawnprotection/Anti-SK mechanics, I say this because if your whole team is outgunned for a round and the opposing team can rush it to your spawn they can keep pressuring you there up to the point there is no escape.
Add K/D ratio under tab.

  • A “carrier” character specialized in delivering objectives. Has max speed, better health than most fast characters get, EMP nades to clear mines/turrets. To balance that, he gets a weak weapon.

  • A bombsuit character specialized in planting/defusing the bomb. Has slow speed, but the most health of any character. Has strong resistance to explosives. To balance that, he gets a somewhat weak weapon.

  • Let us destroy ammo crates, and better yet…plant mines by them that cause them to explode when triggered.
    Actually, do this for ammo packs as well. If a friendly or enemy drops an ammo pack, let me put a mine next to it to create an even bigger explosion.

  • A deployable spawn point. The character who can deploy this carries a giant billowing flag on his back that makes him a big target. When he deploys the spawn point, he stakes the flag in the ground. The enemy can delete the spawn point simply by walking over the flag.
    When he dies, the flag is placed where he died, and the enemy can delete it by walking over it.
    Very little spawn protection for those who use it.
    You cannot spawn on it unless the flag is set down. (Can’t spawn while it is being carried).

So, it would take some creativity to sneak the flag behind enemy lines, since it is an obvious target. A good defense would be able to keep an eye out for it.

I know that most of this stuff is crazy and you guys would hate it. :slight_smile:
