What do you use Mouse2 for?

I’m interested to know what people actually do use Mouse2 for.
I personally have mine on Mouse3 for emergency use only.

The real question should be: what keybind you use IS for (or ADS how its called) :stuck_out_tongue:

Maybe i have it on ALT though :confused: i played with this recently, so can’t remember entirely :stuck_out_tongue:

In Extraction I do since I play with default binds as I need to test them :tongue:

Every other game Mouse2 is jump and middle-mouse is toggle sights.

Used to use it for jump in ET but use it for IS in xT.

I currently use it for ADS, although I’ve sometimes used it for crouch in other games (notably in cs and ns when silentwalk/rysshopp was all the rage). After the recent headshot buffs, I’m strongly considering changing it to crouch to make it easier to spam.

ET - Mouse2 - /kill - yeah, that’s right! I was so comfortable with this bind, while i was actively playing the game. Visiting the game after 2 or 3 years of hiatus, i was like: “-Wtf i was thinking back then?”

when i start played Xt i was use mouse 2 for jumping, but without strafjump it is not needed, so let’s run with mouse 2

i use Mouse2 as Moveforward. since 1993 or 1994. i dont even remember the game in which it was a default setting =)

I have it to ADS but that is only because it’s default. My config is pretty much un-tweeked because I am awful at the configingingingin (ask Inferno)

If I was to change it I would probably have it to crouch :slight_smile:

Being a leftie, I use cursor keys for movement (yeah, I know, but been doing it for 13 years, can’t change now). That makes right-CTRL = crouch (right hand thumb). Right-hand pinkie is numpad Zero = reload, so that’s no more fingers left (on the right hand).

Mouse 1 = shoot
Mouse 2 = jump
Mouse 3 = comms
Left side button = ADS
Right side button = sprint
