what do you think of stokers moli

(cordovanJive) #2

I think it’s a bit underpowered myself, I don’t think I’ve died to it once. Though I guess the real point of it is area denial so… Eh I’m on the fence. I just think it’s cooldown is too long, I barely see it used.

(Mister__Wiggles) #3

Radius needs reducing but apart from that they’re fine.

(MarsRover) #4

Biased poll. No option " slighty UP needs a small buff".

(mono) #5

Don’t think I’ve died to it, rarely get kills with it, but fantastic at area denial & finishing off the Phoenix that’s rolling about around the corner.

(RabidDoG) #6

I think it need a little more…

(FalC_16) #7

I think the molly does not serve the purpose of killing, but rather holding an important bottlenecks before the enemy  (yes I ain’t K/D biatch)

(Rjsto) #8

It does what it does, kills bozos who run into it and prevents people who aren’t bozos running through it. Haven’t had problems with them myself yet

(DMaster2) #9

It’s right, if anything it could use to be a tad more big.

(Grave_Knight) #10

Only problem I have with the molotov isn’t really a problem with the molotov and more of a problem with deployables. I’ve had so many deployables destroyed by the molly without it ever touching them. For some reason, however, it doesn’t seem to effect the turret…

(sentimentalDime) #11

Meant to vote just right… Oh well… Though i do think that it’s cooldown should be reduced to about 30 seconds.

(3N1GM4) #12

It let me vote multiple times, I’m just curious to see what it says I voted

(GildedDark) #13

Why is there not a bugged as crap option? XD

EDIT: It is not.

Kills just fine, any issue with killing is not the molotov’s fault but more like people using their brain. The killing time is good, but it leaves enough time for a tougher character to simply jump away, it’s just good balance. Usually they do get burned, so shooting people as they jump away from the flames is a great tactic and gets you a lot of multi kills. Fire causes a lot of panic (in-game and real life), leaves people to be easy targets for your ak 47. If people are caught off guard it’s an almost guaranteed kill.

A lot of other ways to use besides just killing, area denial on objectives is great. It does a lot of damage to deployables. Killing someone then waiting for a medic is fun. Unsuspecting (or more like tunnel-visioned) medic approaches, and then, SURPRISE!! Also successful with sticky bombs.

If anything it shouldn’t go through walls, a lot of the fire is gone because it just goes through the walls. Maybe the fire can be a bit bigger and the cooldown can be made a tad bit shorter.

(Rawr) #16

I just have the issue that if you play a squishy merc, it pretty much kills and gibs you instantly, preventing a revive. I’d be fine with it as it is, but since they nerfed all other explosives as well as the sniper rifles, I don’t see the reasoning behind making the fire so strong. Just my 2 cents.

(bizarreRectangle) #17

It has a 40 second coodown, it’s stupid to use a molotov just for one light merc. If you don’t get direct hit you can easily jump away depending on where you are.

(Naonna) #18

If you want to throw something to 1shot a squishy merc, just use fragger or nader. - Don’t waste your long cool down when you could choose the alternatives.

(JJMAJR) #19

The Stoker is able to destroy Bushwacker quite easily, and can use scoped assault rifles. Why can he use scoped assault rifles? Can’t he just use something like a PDW or shotgun since he isn’t calling BVR shots for his ability?

(neverplayseriou) #20

Does need a fix so it stops insta destroying all deployables outside it’s radius.
