there is nothing wrong with the gun, it is really balanced. you will need a bit of skill to hit those headshots but it gives you the freedom to mis a shot because you can quickly fire a second shot.

I first used it after the Insta gib changes done to sniper rifles, which really upped the potential of the PDP.
Although I do prefer my MOA as a true sniper, the PDP just seems ridiculously strong once you learn to counter the recoil and manage to track your targets.
But just to be clear, I don’t think it should be nerfed or anything.

Seems to me to be a semi-frontline weapon, and one thats lacking in bodyshot potential. Then again, headshots are sweet so…

I find that in a 1v1 Sniper situation, PDP is straight up broken. You are able to hold your ground indefinitely with such a large clip, and you don’t have to worry about getting headshots, instead spamming bodyshots to inflict aimpunch onto your opponent. If your opponent uses the Felix or the MOA then they need to go to cover in between shots to pull back the bolt, meaning they are at a HUGE disadvantage, needting to walk out of cover and readjust their mouse to hit the enemy.

I feel like it could use a nerf in some way, but I don’t know how.

It was definitely OP even before today’s nerf,

I think it is rather balanced or still slightly OP.

I gotta use it with my Vassili first…

I always thought its recoil OR RPM was way too good compared to the damage it bursts.

SD decided to nerf recoil, and reload animation cancelling speed of PDP by December Fine tuning, so I guess exact DPS will be pumped out by players after all from now, but since fire power on paper still remains, I still think it is slightly OP.

I am having 3.8 kills per min with this gun and Vassili.
