Certain loadout cards for Fletcher have the Lock-on augment, which has the effect ‘Turrets, mines, and other automated defenses react 30% more quickly.’ Problem is: Fletcher’s sticky’s aren’t automated; they have to be activated manually. So what’s the point?
I assume it must reduce the time between clicking the detonator and the actual detonation of the sticky bombs, but that’s such a brief period of time that I have a hard time believing it actually does anything. Unlike turrets and mines, the benefit of faster stickies seems negligible, and I would rather have a better augment in its place.
I’ve been told that Lock-on literally does nothing. That means the first two poll options are useless then. derp
In my humble opinion, I would think that Bigger Blast (or Explodydendron, they both increase weapon/ability AoE by 10%) would be a much more suitable augment to take its place, since it would improve coverage of traps and make accuracy less of an issue. Anyone have any other ideas?
