Yep MissMurder confirmed it today, you can see her posts in the official posts at the top of the home page. Phantom balance changes are coming technically today on the 22nd.

Lol Phantom is 100% useless now. And btw Phantom isn’t OP, you just are too blind to notice him with his cloak on. (If you ever try competitive with him BEFORE the major nerf, you’d be annihilated because there are actually players that actually ARE GOOD AT THE GAME. Specific mercs cancel out other specific mercs, and this update makes pretty much all mercs able to annihilate Phantom even if they’re some level 1 player at the age of 10 that doesn’t know how to walk forward. And guess what? they do this before Red Eye is even added to the game -.- for Christ’s sake it’s already hard as it is, and now they nerf it and when Red Eye comes Phantom will have 0% chance to do anything m80s. #Useless (And take it from a guy the uses all the mercs, not just a kiddy that uses Phantom 24/7)
