Don’t use social media whatsoever because it’s all trash and I have a phone number, but I knew what the whole L thing was because of sports. I’m assuming that’s how it all started. No idea.
Anyway, nothing to report from me on DB today. Haven’t played yet.

Somehow kept missing this thread so I’m a bit late, but:
Tried ranked season 4 for the first time today. The first time I actually tried, it just disconnected me from the lobby and gave me a penalty. But I managed to finish two matches today. One where we got stomped, and another that was just 20 minutes of boring stalemate, but we managed to pull through at the end.
I also bot like, 40 event cases, but the best I got was a single silver fletcher.
Managed a 6 game winning streak in a solo queue of ranked. Also, been playin’ a lot as Bushwhacker lately and had some fun looking for unconventional turret spots. In other news, I witnessed a Javelin finish 2 downed enemies with her rocket rather than shooting or knifing. Laughed harder than I should have at that.

So, on my secondary account I managed to get to Gold Officer today after playing this past weekend with a record of 20-4 and one draw. I started at Silver Officer/Master (don’t remember) after my placement matches and have kept a nice streak of winning going. Carried my way up to about mid gold and now that I’m high gold and nearing cobalt, I can tell this is the threshold for solo queues. Getting consistent wins from this point on isn’t likely without a group because everyone’s near the same skill level. It’ll just be a constant game of tug of war and I may end up dropping a rank every now and then or jumping up to Gold Master eventually, but breaking through cobalt solo is not gonna happen. It’s been fun. Might be an unpopular opinion, but my matches so far this season have been well balanced and competitive. If only my schedule would allow me to fully commit to a season with a group mic’d up every day…
Managed to not get a single Jackal’s Eve card despite playing almost every day.
I got into a fight with a nearby Nader. I decide to use my revivr because it was out and i didn’t feel like switching weapons. We both can’t aim, so we kept missing eachother. One of my missed shots hit a downed teamate from across the map.

Saw Steam was downloading new patch . Look at patch notes with hope in my heart as has been the case for over a year, find no mention of Bushwhacker anywhere , die a lil more inside and wait for next patch .

-Vote fails due to page up button being too hard to find
-Gets randomly disconnected anyways at the end of the match
-No rewards
-Has to leave to do homework
-Bitter and filled with anger at all this time wasted
-DB uninstalled next day
I managed to stay motivated after queuing for over 30 minutes, get disconnected in the last 2 minutes of the win and managed to get back in the last 20 seconds before the win, earning me 2 credits for 20 minutes…
