What Class Do You Play Most?

(Terminator514) #1

Just wondering guys, what classes do you play most and why? Leave your opinion on the poll and why in a simple or complex comment. The reason I am making this poll is because some classes seem to be in over-abundance (ex: engineer/soldier) while the others are sorely lacking particularly the medic. In my opinion SD should address this by buffing up the under used classes with other cool bonuses.

So, what class do you play and why? Why don’t you play other classes?

FORGOT POLL!

Solider. I think the soliders skills are the best in the game, so I use them.

operative and engineer i usualy switch off between those two because im good at hacking and fixing things

Medic. In many class-based objective games, he is both the most underplayed and important class on the team.

Lately I’ve been playing my Jack-of-all-trades build so I’ve been playing which ever class is needed for the main objective or, if my teammates are on it, then I pick whatever class rounds out the team or is good for support of the guy doing the main objective. But I got him up to level 20 now so I’ve been going back to playing my class specialization builds.

My favorite class is the Engineer. Ive always been a big fan of mines and placeable turrets, and buffing an entire team’s weapon damage and upgrading command posts is very effective at increasing a team’s effectiveness. Good for both offense and defense.

The one I play second most is my heavy Soldier with a minigun because watching those enemy corpses fly away from me like leaves in front of a leaf blower is hilarious.

After that I like light Operative for some kick-ass parkouring but it gets kinda old sneaking around after awhile. I don’t really play my medium Medic at all, I made him look real creepy, which is cool, but I’d rather be out killing enemies instead of healing/resing teammates.

In this order:

1)Med
2)Eng
3)Sold
4)Op

(Zanchile) #7

1)Op
2)everyone else.

I really didn’t get the soldier until I got my Soldier/Op hybrid up to level 20 and started using the satchels… They are awesome.

Still though, I spend most of my time playing Operative (and find it the most fun), and Engineer would be #2.

(kiunk) #9

45% of my game time as medic. By far the most important and under used class.

Medic. // lightbody.

i play medic since RTCW times. its my favourite class eversince.
when needed i switch to any other class to do objectives.

I play the needed classes usually, but i just got abilities for medic and engeneer wich are the most important classes to support your team imo. But in tf and Bc2 i also like medic and engeneer : D

(Kalbuth) #12

The only class I struggle with is Operative, there’s a lot of not so usefull abilities for him. I should play it more, but I think the team is losing more if I play op instead of another class
I made a full soldier lately. Probably the only class where all the abilities are worth it. I’ve become fond of the way you fight with a soldier, it’s different from other class, it’s a grenade-based class.

So I’m in a mix between soldier and medic. Pretty intense moments for each, but I think I’d stick with medic. If only I had taken Grenade Shooting on my medic build…

(ED209) #13

Medic! Usually found scrounging for ammo. Not the reviving machine like the GDF medic or self sufficient technician. Still my class of choice.

(its al bout security) #14

engi.

soldier for infinite grenade launcher/super nade/ moltov spamm

then recently playing op for shot fun disguise

(Kalbuth) #15

Yes, no more infinite spot holding ala Technician, you need soldier backup.
Happened to me yesterday on a hack hold at last obj of Resort, playing resistance.
Spent like 4 minutes without ammo, only handing out revives and heals. Got replenished, just to be flushed out 10 secs later :frowning:

The first defensive stage of sectow is pretty bad
I don’t think you can get back to your command post once you drop down
At least I couldn’t figure it out the last couple of times I tried

(matsy) #17

Medic, and if I cba the current objective…

(MorsTua) #18
