What aspect ratio/resolution do you play with?

(cordovanJive) #1

I run 4:3 1200x1600 or 5:3 1280x1024 depending on. I can’t remember if DB actually supporta 5:4 but if it does then that’s what I run haha. Just have always been used to it.

So what ratio does everyone else run? And resolution?

(watsyurdeal) #2

1920 x 1080, cause anything else looks like trash

(Hibbsan) #3

1920 x 1080 of course.

(SteelMailbox) #4

I am pretty sure 1920x1080 is 16:9

(avidCow) #5

1280x960

I’m actually really surprised to see so few running 4:3/5:4 it seemed serious players liked to play with 4:3 since it’d stretch players out. Though I guess that’s more of a CS thing. Since it does conversely cut off some horizontal vision.

I still run 5:4 because it just feels right if you know what I mean?

(Celery) #7

Where is the 85:48 ratio?

I’m on 1360 x 768…

(MvMArcher) #8

It is.
16:10 would be 1920x1200

(yusayu) #9

1920x1080 cause I dont have the money for a 4k monitor :expressionless:

yes, it will affect your fov if i am not mistaken, which i like maxed the fuck out on almost every game i play, I actually like to see whats going on.

(torsoreaper) #11

2560x1440 until I get my occulus rift

If I remember correctly it has to do with whether the game uses horizontal or vertical fov.
If the game uses horizontal fov, you’ll get a small “advantage” using a 4:3 resolution.

You can read more on this over here[/left]

Using native (1920x1080) resolution due to the nature of LCD’s being absolute shite if used otherwise. That, and lazyness.

(Blackers) #14

2560x1440 @144hz, with G-sync

(Litego) #15

There is only one acceptable resolution, the native resolution of your monitor, anything else is shit.

Me:1920x1080

(Ctrix) #16

That feel when you have to play Witcher 3 in 1280x720 because your gpu is a toaster.

Quite literally like I took of my glasses.

(Eox) #17

I failed my vote. My resolution being 1280 * 1024, it looks more like a 5:4 resolution.

(sensit1ve_) #18

Full HD aka 1920x1080 @ 144Hz

(MisterMurder) #19

1920x1080 OCed to 80Hz

Same here, but I believe it’s classed as a 16/9 still.
