what about 75:25

just checked

http://xbox.brinkthegame.com/
and
http://ps3.brinkthegame.com/

out of curiousity and was a bit shocked. i watched the win:loss ratio a few weeks now and the win ratio for resistance actually increases as you can see. it increases by a dangerous amount. it increased over 10% from last week only. im really wondering if any security still wins at all.

75:25 is no small difference, its actually a huge difference. why is that i ask myself? and what efforts are made to do something against this?

i knew from the first spawnrape on container city that the maps are unbalanced. but this is really ominous.

Security vs Resistance isn’t a helpful ratio. Offense versus Defense is what you should be examining.

This.

I think i remember reading somewhere on this forum about a request for spawn time tuning…maybe a solution?

Like I’ve said in numerous threads over on the Bethesda forums, it’s because people are content as playing as Resistance and raping the AI on the Resistance favorable maps…which are ALL of them. I mean c’mon, SecTow is supposed to be Security’s home turf, yet the Resistance have to just climb a small incline, hop a few barricades and they’re at the conduit, whereas Security have to travel triple the distance to reach it to disarm the charge. It’s painfully obvious that they didn’t play test the balance of the maps. That, or they just said “lets make it easier for Resistance to win since we know everyone likes the underdogs” when they were developing the game.

Then let’s not even start with the MP balancing. So many times I hear (or read shall I say) people saying the balancing sucks, but how many people actually switch to the other team when they see there’s only 3 other users playing as Security as opposed to a team of 6-8 on Resistance? What the stats site numbers show me…is that people like playing the game on easy. And Resistance = easy. Period. Anyone who denies that is naive beyond words. And yes…that means YOU person who posts after this one defending the Resistance’s blatant advantages on 80% of the maps.

That’s exactly just as useless as SvR.

It needs to be considered per map which already happens. Then defense vs offense and security vs resistance are just different in name.

I have to agree Res. appears to have it way easier most of the time (when not playing Stopwatch). That’s why I prefer Sec. CC, SY, Term, + Aqua offense ftw
