I think its like a Block out doesnt say for what its been done …so I wont be worry about it …well thats my thought

Is it possible to hide some HUD elements?
For example to remove the top bar with all the palyer info (Health, class etc)

As far as I know it’s not possible because out-of-margin (-100 etc) HUD elements get bound to a border around your screen. So you can’t really move them out of your screen and I don’t know if there is any opacity value.

I have problem to recognize every part of HUD, maybe som1 can help me and others?

Let’s go:

CarryableStatus - ?
Chatinput - obvious
ConsoleMessageLog - simple chat
DetectedNotification - ?
GameplayNotification - ?
GameInfo - ?
IncapMenu - Merc to choose when u r dead (?)
InteractionFillbar - progress of repair and stuff (?)
Minimap - ???
ObjectiveProgression - Obj progress bar (?)
ObjectiveProgressionNotification - ?
ObjectiveClok - obvious
ObjectiveNotification - ?
ObituaryMessageLog - killed person log
PlayerHealth - obvious
ScopeInfo - ?
SpectatorInfo - nick of person we speckt
WeaponAmmo - obvious
WeaponInventory - obvious

I want to make a screen with all that parts, but can’t get it all in same time : ). That need som free time and MS Paint magic

Let’s help:

CarryableStatus - When you carry an objective (Current patch doesn’t have any carryable objectives)
DetectedNotification - The red Detected notification when you are detected by a sniper
GameplayNotification - Not sure, but probably the message when an objective has been completed or a dynamite has been planted.
GameInfo - Match time that’s left
Minimap - Map of the level (Current patch doesn’t have the minimap in the HUD)
ObjectiveProgressionNotification - The white bars of objectives (in the left top of your screen)
ObjectiveNotification - Is probably almost identical to Gameplay Notification

So far I know. But you can move some elements around to see where they get placed and find out what is what.

  • Added AbilityCooldown, Experience, ReadyUp
  • Removed WeaponInventory (Has been replaced by AbilityCooldown)
  • Altered PlayerHealth height

Are we somehow able to remove it entirely though? ie. the files associated or taken out of DefaultUI entirely or else whichever other config file is associated?

Also, it really doesn’t work well on 1920x1080 :frowning: I can move some, other’s not at all and the few that do work are nowhere near to where I place them on the configurator.

Asked Toomic about this ages ago. TL;DR The option doesn’t work work yet.

Do you reckon there’s anyway to turn the “ShowAllyNames” bind/command into a permanent toggle, somehow? I’d love having it on at all times but can’t quite figure out how I’d achieve such with the configs, I’m sure it’d have to be possible one way or another without having to keep the button pressed all the time :frowning:
