Instead of enjoying this game, I’m actually trying to convince myself this is a good game. Today I gave up. Uninstalling it and maybe, I’ll give it a look sometime later on.
As far as I’m concerned, this game is an epic fail. Sure, we understand bugs and crashes which frankly I had none. It’s the constant feel that you guys haven’t even played the damned game, let alone test it. The map designs from a gameplay perspective favors the defenders greatly on container city and especially on Reactor.

Who was the idiot that decided engineers should be able to remove the hack box that quickly? Seriously, have you ever played this game man?

For you guys looking for a carrier in game design, take a very good look at this game and make notes about how not to make a game.

Games should be fun, not annoying.

Long story short, no way I’ll be giving Splash Damage my money again. Quake Wars was a good game, this, is an attempt of game.

This is exactly what I was thinking earlier today.
But its being changed and surely container city will be fixed too.
I don’t think any other game has had so many quitting/anger filled topics on the boards

They updated the game to fix the hack/unhack times. : [

I wouldn’t necessarily blame all of it on SD. There are some bright spots here and there, such as the abilities, the smart system, and the customization. Unfortunately, the bland game play with its’ poorly thought out map design and repetitive objectives overshadows these achievements.

More of the blame goes to Bethesda and their money-grabbing, and grubbing, ways. The last three games they’ve had anything to do with have been utter disasters. However, this doesn’t totally exonerate SD from all of the issues.

Until SD prove that they have either the balls to stand up to their publisher and take pride in their work or hire some talented designers and developers that can bring their games into this century I will also not be giving them my money for any future products. I will continue to play this game and enjoy the little bit of fun that I can have with it until something new comes along that strikes my fancy.

Well, hes right on one thing, i´ve been playng brink since day 1, and majority of maps are really unbalanced, some to a point that the attacking team have a lot of disconnects, from the server. I´ve never play a previous spash damage game, but brink have the most unbalanced maps i´ve seen in a mp game, thats why all games have dual objectives where both teams attack and defend so that doesn,t happens, just attacking in a unbalanced map can be no fun at all.
