Was enjoying the game for quite some time now, thinking of dropping a few $$$ on it, then log in today only to get choppy choppy by invisible players all night. One thing never to put in a multiplayer game…cloak…just don’t do it…let alone an invisible one shot “knife runner” that everyone hates except the 12 years old giggling while swinging a sword.
I’ll be back when Phantom is gone or nerfed to the ground. The game just isn’t fun with that merc in it. Either that or just wait for Overwatch.

Phantom itself isnt the problem… Its the lag that makes Phantom a problem… I hate getting knifed by a stupid sword when im like 3m+ away from him… The chance of killing a phantom in CQC is really low because of this… Other than this, he is OK… !

Infiltrators in Planetside 2 have less health than the majority of classes. Phantom has more.
Infiltrators in Planetside 2 have the same knives as every other class. Phantom has a sword that can kill 3 people at once without even requiring a tiny amount of skill, like cooking a grenade.
Infiltrators in Planetside 2 have reconnaissance tools to allow them to be a credit to their team. Phantom has no teamwork tool.
Cloak in Planetside 2 is easy to spot and VERY loud. Phantom is close to invisible and much quieter.
Infiltrators in Planetside are overall weaker than Phantom, yet I can still kill a lot of people with them. And if I don’t, at least I’m helping the team with my motion spotter. A stealth class should not need to be as powerful as Phantom to be useful.
Just using PS2 as an example because it’s the one of those I’ve played most.
Most of those games I either don’t care about, or the cloak is more of a gimmick than anything. Yes you can spot his cloak, but it’s not easy even with max settings and running 4k. But I have a feeling that even if that toon couldn’t cloak, with lag and the 1 shot, it would still be stupid.
Just always disappointing when games are enjoyable then just go right off the deep end. CoD is probably the best example of that. CoD2, MW1, even Blops1, then we have…wall jumping cloaking tards…

Crysis* is alright in the campaign. Multiplayer is, or rather was, unplayable due to the cloaking-faggotry
except for Crysis, TF2 and Planetside 2 all of the games you mentioned suck major cock.
And in TF2 the spy is not nearly as powerful while there’s also the pyro and the snipers razorback.
there is currently no way to counter or win a direct 1v1 encounter against a phantom if his cloak is not on cooldown. I don’t know what whoever was responsible for this was thinking when he or she commanded to implement phantom in the game without any kind of counterplay.

Hm I really need to check this, I played 2 rounds with him yesterday and had a feeling that my cloak went off really fast as soon as someone was hitting me with bullets…
I take it back for now, must do some research @ home ;D

Wait I thought Maplestory has mini games for PvP?
I once shotgun the guy while he wasn’t in cloak with Remburg while playing Prox and it did nothing to him. His health was still full despite taking a full buckshot to the face.
Not sure if this’s a bug.
