Its a bug, your caracther often will look completly diferent from the one you created, this happens to me often and to all brink players i supose.

The classes have distinct gloves as far as I know.

It is not a bug, every class has different gloves. A little cosmetic improvment. Or if you are playing without HUD you can know instantly which class you are.

But these separate gloves are not visable in 3rd person for whatever reason, seems intentional because its been that way from the start, and the 3rd person fingerless gloves don’t match any of the class gloves.

I was playing on CC as SEC right at the start and a guy changed from one class to medic and he completely changed appearance. All his clothes were different. It was very strange.

Same with when you comms hack/finish someone off. They just change appearance.
