Weird periodic spikes

I am hosting two brink servers on my Windows 2008 Box and I’ve noticed this weird periodic spike that happens approximately every 10-20 seconds. Wondering if anyone has experienced something similar and have suggestions on what I can do to fix this?

On the picture, the first example is from a server where I was not experiencing the spikes and the red line ran mostly uninterrupted. The second example is from one of my servers where this jump in the line happens every 15 seconds or so, all the time - causing a minor hiccup in the game.

My server is sporting a Quad-Core Xeon 2.53GHz and 8Gigs of ram along with a 100mbit port to the backbone so I’d be pretty surprised if the problem lies there. The only other instances running on the server is an IIS web server and MSSQL database serving one low traffic website. Network utilization never goes above 4%

I’ve been trying a few different things and it seems like that the periodic spikes are gone if I run the servers in my user session instead of starting them as a service through FireDaemon - what am I missing in terms of setting the servers up to run as services?

I am using FireDaemon on my servers also and I dont notice a spike on a regular basis. I get the occasional spike, but that could be my client or the server.
