Weird Ass Error

Loaded up my map and I get this error:

G_Findconfigstringindex: overflow

Couldn’t find any info on this error from searching.

i think what that error is telling you, is that your video card is having problems drawing some of the 3dfx information it’s being given. it may be software or hardware error, i cant tell you that, cause i dont know… i am not sure if this is the exact defenition for this error… it also may have to do with ur .cfg files… hopefully slpash damage will figure this out :smiley:

if this only happens on ur map check and do brush clean ups or send us ur map and see if it happens to us

It’s only on this one map and I have done brush cleanup.
I have a GeForce4 Ti4200 with updated drivers, I don’t think that has anything to do with it.

I have no problems with other maps.

ok then let us see ur map either .bsp or .map… and see if it does the same with us… can u try to use different compile types and see if it does the same?

set ur video settings to default
