Weekends are aweful

(Ctrix) #1

It seems like whenever I play on weekends that every game I join is a stack and I can only try to herd what feels like a kindergarden. And even successive rounds, it’s always like half the team of level 5-10 don’t even know the map, instead just running headlong into where they last died over and over again.

I’ve been trying to get a good game all day, I can’t even manage to get my missions done because my team always loses so hard.

First good game I get in and then it fucking crashes http://static-cdn.jtvnw.net/emoticons/v1/279/1.0 I am so done right now.

Play on min 10 servers if you’re upset about 5-10s…

Every time I do that there’s at least one guy who might as well be running aimbots for all purposes.
I’m not fucking complaining about the levels. They are level 5+ and YET they STILL don’t know the basic map layouts. Playing TDM on Bridge and not even bothering to go back to the obj, instead just camping the parking garage, not going up the bridge the entire second stage, having everything be flanked constantly, the enemy literally right above them yet they’re oblivious and get shot in the back. THAT’S NOT NORMAL BEHAVIOUR http://static-cdn.jtvnw.net/emoticons/v1/279/1.0

If that makes you feel better (probably wont, but imma do it anyways  ) ive played with 2 guys above lvl20 against a few above lvl10 peeps, and i had to put some serious effort in cause those 2 guys were barely doing anything worthwhile. (or they were fully drunk, thats also possible :D)

So just try to ignore other’s mistakes and focus on your owns. If you have none, be happy, if you do have some, focus on those. …Or just run around and knife ppl =) But for realz, dont be frustrated, it aint worth it.

I’ve had my share of obnoxious retards when i played World of Tanks, if you think this is bad, oh boyo, let me tell, this is merely a slight inconvinience. At least here you dont have friendly fire (except some examples in which i do not participate in)

Same thing happens on min level 10 servers.

Well, better than low levels because some at least knows how to play, and you can actually blame the low-skilled high level guys.

But newbies without even finishing their tutorial is just pure awful.

It is always Aura, and Skyhammer, who neglects you lol

May be SD should put some functions like if you bash Skyhammer with cricket bat, it makes him automatically spit out his ammo pack.

Worst play I’ve seen that low levels does all the time with Aura is may be deploying your healing station in front of enemy, and die with it. So even after he/she respawns, no heal, no revive. Well, Skyhammer not giving ammo…? oh man… let’s just not talk about it.

Can’t play rank, can’t play min level 10 sever unless weekend, so I am the one who can completely understand your situation Ctrix.

What else can we do… have to destroy the low levels to win, but I also hate it because it isn’t useful for all of us, including game’s user pool.

I think people are just expecting too much out of their public games. I have a blast most of the time I play, even if the teams are skewed. Yeah, sometimes you get those really shitty situations that turn you into a rage monster, but just try to move on. Do the best you can do individually - if you’re stuck with 3 Vassili’s who miss 100% of the shots they do take, whatever - just do what you can do.

While meeting such situations myself, I decide it calls for my best wannabe British- accent over the jolly VOIP chat, a large-ish cup of coffee, despite the opposite type of beverage being more fitting with afore mentioned trait I tend to play with for my own entertainment, relished just how I enjoy my humour and slaves, black, and bringing in the good ol’ tea-bag blunt also known as cricket bat of splendid annoyance. Nothing better than bursting out your frustration over the poor souls picking a class that does by no apparent means suit their playstyle nor skills they’ve racked up yet, by repeatedly reminding them of the fact that despite lack of friendly fire is indeededly saving their cranium from major traumas right now, loss of said mechanic cannot save their eardrums being rhytmically pounded for their lack of survaillance over the situation, followed up by gentle, recurrent bend of knees over their physically and now also mentally agony- filled downed bodies once some competent enough foe introduces them to high-velocity high-five in the face with a lead-iron metal composition.

And this is why I want MM to work. Because pubs are always going to be really, really boring to play if you want a fun challenge, and not the type that boils down to “it’s me versus a whole team and the rest of mine are off doing god knows what”.

To change that, ppl need to learn how and when to switch. Ive been in a somewhat balanced game on Bridge on defending side, and while the attackers got more than half repairs on the EV, we reinforced le defense and they couldnt get through anymore. And then scrubs from their team started leaving, so i decided to switch. (i played as Sparks all game btw so killing wasnt really my forte) I helped them push the game to the last objective with only 1 carryable to deliver. Was a loss, but it was an exciting and enjoyable game instead of a quick win!
