I don’t like the idea of teams vs drafts in the slightest. Massively disappointing that they didn’t want to bother putting up a private server for this. Pathetic nexon strike again.

  • Anyone else think since this nexon deal everything has pretty much gone ****? SD please take back control as they are messing things up big time. Their launcher is one of the worst lag causing programs I have ever known. Their servers feel like ****e. Their ticket system is super speedy (Still awaiting my NX points which I created 2 tickets for about 6 months ago but still nothing?) They fail to support community run projects like this. Is this REALLY the direction you want to be heading down in the long run? A **** service from a company who care more about making money than supporting their community who provide that money?

well it turned out nicely, koz 2 clans played vs each other, and other guys played a draft game.

but i agree that drafts are drafts and clan games are clan game (cpt. obvi strikes again!)

Which is basically what Inferno was saying, better to have a tournament with 4 draft teams from the players available than 2 drafts and 2 clan.

With sd and nexon not willing to put private servers up i suggest you invest your time else where if you want community run projects

Hey guys,

You know us, we want to support competition, it’s a key element of the MP experience that many of us here at the office thoroughly enjoy.

Out of interest, are there any huge issues that’d prevent these fun cups from taking place on the weekend? How many people would be unavailable to participate then? Do bear in mind that having these on the weekend would also open up additional people to play in them as well.

Silvanoshi, can you please explain why is it that we cannot have private servers during any time of the week?
its not that they will be online the whole week, only for cups and matches (1-2 days a week at most).
nexon didnt give any good explanation for this quite strange desision.

Weekdays for me works. Weekends I am normally with my kids so it’s currently a no go. Does this mean I will be put at a disadvantage to those who are able to play at the weekends as that’s the only time you will allow private servers?

we need weekends cups AND weekday cups. i see them both being populated on regular basis.

Turns out the request was declined due to the servers being patched that day, no other reason.

Something’s changed with the approval process of the servers it seems though. I should find out more on Thursday.

Ima nolifer, and i can play weekends and workdays as well, but workdays preferable.

I’m not doing anything special, just fortunate enough to be able to speak with the Nexon people more directly than the majority of the community. No credit for me please, doing it for the good of the game, not for me alone!

Found out that there is going to be a new system for requesting servers set up. Nexon hope to have this set up immediately so there is no short term solution in place. I am going to keep pushing for this since I would really like to get the drafts started again.
