it wasnt technicaly a cup, turned out to be some draft games and clan games. so when the time was around 1am moscow time we (russian/belarussian guys) went to sleep.
it was my first attempt in organizing a cup, so was kind of a fail here and there. i’m glad that there were some fun games at least…

You can make special requests to get private servers for an event. Ask Seanza about it.

Also I can only do games during the week-end, have only my laptop during the week.

We made a special request, it was denied saying something like, “there are already enough public servers during the week, you can only have private servers at weekends now.”

Side Note: Weekends are the only time I would be able to play with you guys unless we start to get some USA cups… :rolleyes:

I like this idea, need good organizators and players for this.I have some wild idea for next events, some semi-draft system, if you have team you can sign up as a team, if you don’t have team you can sign up as player, and admin make mixed team for this(or maybe not only this) event.

I’ll be organizing weekend events within the next few weeks again, starting with draft pugs first probably. A mixed team cup is one of those that I’ve wanted to do for a long time. The idea was… creating an ELO ranking via draft games and then assigning mixed teams at the end each month, then playing the cup during the 3rd week. Re-assigning teams at the end of the month again, and recycle.

W/L and most likely I’d to involve a moderate Highest Kills/KPM multiplier (not KDR). I’d also probably track the most played classes of each player as well, so that teams would end up with a good balance on that front as well.
