Hey everyone,

I need to make a website for school and I decided to make it about Dirty Bomb.

We need to code everything our selfs with HTML and CSS (javascript if needed). I made a design how I’d like it to look…(these are only images)
Landing page

Menus

New buttons

YouTube Content

This is only the main page and their will be alot more pages with mercs, maps, ect.

Do you guys have any tips & feedback? Things that are missing…

Dude that looks freaking amazing! hope doing all the backend stuff wont be too tedious, been out of the game for a while with web design/coding etc but will this be a responsive design?

It feels a little cluttered… but that could just be my current mood. it looks rather well organized though. pretty cool I think. :slight_smile:

You’re missing Dockyard under maps. Also, if this is an actual project for a grade, I wouldn’t do it on anything that’s copyrighted, and I certainly wouldn’t copy any banners, such as the banner you copied from Nexon’s official American site:

Don’t do that man, it could actually get you into trouble, plagiarism, etc.

Scrollability on a page is also nice. People don’t like image link sites anymore.
I myself would add a bit more contrast between graphical features of the site and the background. Such as the topics at the top, darken their background a little bit more.

I would also reduce the size of the Three update banners on the right side a little bit, and I would make YOUTUBE CONTENT on the landing page a bit smaller too, and more of a dropdown as well…

Possibly include content, and content creators outside of the official DB YTube: such as Sniff, Dazz, old KandyREW videos, etc. though a bit unnecessary of course. However, considering what you’ve told us, the more functionality, utility, and tidiness the better the grade I’m sure.

Also, include a link to my Phoenix guide. :smirk:

I think your website looks visual polluted. Mainly because of your chosen Background. If you take a look on Websites like Microsoft, Apple, Google you see they don’t have a Background at all. Best you get there is grey, white or black. Now i also think these colors won’t fit your Site. Try something like the Background of this Forum or just a color gradient fitting your Front. Try from darkblue to dark-ish blue.

@Xenithos The footer, for now I litteraly copy pasted it, but I’ll need to make one myself. That will have only a couple button and no copyright stuff. It’s school and this won’t actual go live (only on a school server) so I don’t think copyright will be much of an issue.

I’m aware this is not a “clean” looking site, I’ll try to make it a little bit cleaner looking :slight_smile:

@SiegeFace This will be my first website, most of it will be images and text. No anomation so I hope it will be responsive. I think a bigger problem will be getting it to work on mobile and all browsers.

Well, when a developer moves something, it also appears in the main trilogy at the top of developer posts, despite it only being a move. I’ve actually never seen it happen before, or if it did the developer usually says something IN the post already. That’s why it’s getting some feedback. I clicked it because it showed up on developer posts. :sweat:
