in my opinion all weapons need like 20 - 35% increase in damage
B-16 need some kinda aiming sight like SRS Sight or Acog
Fragger should get back his M249 like in the alpha and Thunder should have this K something

Not really. I think the damage is fine, headshots are key. With headshots, enemies drop within 2-4 shots very quickly.
However, some shotguns should be tweaked a little bit, IMHO.
Use ADS if you are using a long range weapon, but that’s basically it.
Also people die pretty damn fast, so I dunno what game you are transitioning from… League of Legends?
This game isn’t supposed to have Call of Duty like TTK, where the guy with the faster reaction time wins every gunfight. Dirty Bomb is about having good aim and being on target, and a damage increase for all weapons would make the game a whole lot different.

@umberInlet its a bit of a mixed bag, the higher dps weapons are ones that fire in quick bursts, the Stark, BR and Dreiss, but its not by much except for the Dreiss, which has poor accuracy if you try to fire it faster than one shot a second, with both high hipfiring spread and high recoil when fired aiming down its sights, smgs have a slower hipfiring spread and upward recoil and are less affected by movement and jumping than the rest, along with their higher ammo capacity and rate of fire make them seem much better, especially Pheonix’ default smg the hochfir.
The thing is that Dirty Bomb Merc are bulletsponges if you don’t go for the head. Just look at the numbers. Assault Rifles deal 14 dmg and mercs have around 120 health. If you compare that with other shooters like Blacklight Retribution for example where a normal Assault Rifle deals 50 dmg and Chars have around 200 health. Thats 4 bullets in the body for a kill, two in the head. As you see, the TTK is WAY lower.
But I like that. It makes Dirty Bomb not that “You didn’t saw me, so you loose” game as BLR or CoD as @derpypenguinz19 mentioned already.
But one thing where I agree is the sights or aiming for heads. I noticed that if I aim straight for the head I get body shots, but if I aim a little higher than I’d think where I have to aim, I get dem headshot I wanted. Maybe the hitboxes are fucked up, maybe it’s the spread, maybe it’s the sights (which are jumping higher that they are aiming. Look at the K-121. After a few shots you have to aim with the middle of the pin, not the pointy top, which feels really weird) or I just have f*cked up eyes.
Some kind of scopes would be nice. I don’t need high zoom and iron sights do feel good and look good as well, but I really don’t like how you aim for the head with them. “Okay, I have to cover the whole enemy body with my sight to hit the head. If I don’t see him anymore it’s the perfect time to shoot” isn’t the way to go (IMO) especially for weapons like the Dreiss-AR and BR-16. Every other gun should stick with their Iron sights.
How about an optional red dot or holo scope. You could switch it in the barracks or the options menu so people who like Iron Sights can stick with them and people like me who like to see the enemy they’re shooting at can switch to those. No additional zoom or anything so no balance issues.
F*ck it, I’d even pay for those
It might be a case of the dreaded ‘Visual Recoil’ from Battlefield. IE, your gun changes position in your camera perspective the more you fire it.
That’s exactly what it looks like to me. I think TTK to the body is fine but I’d like to have lower headshot TTKs and I really wish they’d get rid of aimpunch. All it does is make getting headshots inconsistent.
If you don’t like the TTK then this might not be the game for you. It’s suppose to be like that and I think that’s one of the main centerpieces of the game. If you want a lower TTK (nothing wrong with that) maybe try CoD or Counter-Strike.

on the issue where u aim at the head and it hits the body with sights… after some extensive testing with the BR16 i would say its the zeroing issue… most people come from games where the gun is zeroed for the hitscan point to be right above the point where the ironsights end and as such would aim in that manner… however in DB it seems that the bullet hitscan point is where the glow in the dark green marker is… so if u adjust accordingly u shld be hitting trip HS with BR16s… at least that is what i experienced through extensive usage with the BR16 on a skyhammer… and yes i play BR16 on skyhammer exclusively the M4 anit ma thing…
