weapon texture

hi,
I have created a new knife model but the texture didnt display and i have instead a orange and black weapon.
The original model was in 3ds and it was converted to md3 format .
I have specified in the qc file the way of my tga texure in my pk3 . but it doesn t work.
Where is my mistake ?

Any errors in the console like “shader not found” or “texture not power of 2”?

Edit:

I don’t know if the knife model is animated and needs more than one frame.

I don’t mean to take the post away but what does it mean when “texture not power of 2”? I made a new picture for the backscreen for ET and it says that in consel!

obviously the texture sizes aren’t a power of 2. textures can only have sizes which are a power of 2 like: 32 x 32, 128 x 128, 64 x 512, 128 x 256 etc.
