Weapon stats make no sense at all

So, despite all the glaring problems with this game

  1. stability
  2. bot ai
  3. confusing objective wheel
  4. bad map design (choke points)
  5. no single player
  6. etc etc etc

I’m trying to enjoy this game the most I can, hell i paid for it.

But seriously, the thing that is pissing me off most right now is the weapon stats.

What the hell does the damage bar even represent?

The revolver has a lower rating than the semi automatic pistol on damage, and yet obviously it does 3 times the damage or so per bullet. Best I can tell it must represent total damage potential in a clip/magazine/load.

Theres no mention of auto / semi/ 3 round burst on the weapons… nothing.

God this is awful, any one have a site that lists this stuff with actual detail.

I have been thinking about this myself. I would much rather have hard statistics than the bars.

A number for each of these.

Like
Damage per bullet.
Bullets per second.
Accuracy variable
Stability variable
etc.

All the things that defines the gun in simple digit form. So you can make a clear educated decision on which guns you want to use.

words like clear and educated don’t exist in the Splash Damage vocabulary. Look at their objective wheel.

Defend this door. Ok defend it for what? To help my team do something, to stop the other team from doing something, what is that something?
