Weapon Skins?

I remember somewhere stating that weapons would have different skins (besides the resistance skin and security skin of course). I don’t exactly remember where it said that though.

So besides the pre-order bonuses are there different skins for guns?

Each weapon has a Security and Resistance version, plus there are the special Fallout and DOOM pre-order skins for the CARB-9 and the Bulpdaun, respectively.

…that would be the Maximus’s Resistance paintjob. :slight_smile: There’s no full-blown painting of weapons in Brink.

so outside from the 2 default skins, and the preorder skins, there are no other skins? so every time i see a resistance gerund it will be the green with red and yellow? i mean it looks cool but kind of disappointing, def not a game breaker though, they let me at 4 attachments at the same time so thatll be good enough

I remember hearing at some point that you can customise the camo on your weapons, which may mean there are multiple skins, or there are multiple colour patterns for a single skin, or multiple skins that can be recoloured.

Was early on though, so it may have been scrapped, or it may only relate to the pre-order bonus skins.

Are you saying there is no option to change your skin/paint job/finish on your gun for your Security respective Resistance version? :confused:

I must say, this is the first thing I’ve heard about Brink that disappoints me, although the disappointment is slight.

With all of the other customization options you are giving us, I would have thought that there would be plenty of gun camos to choose from. The plethora of attachment options already add a large amount of personalization to the guns, of course, but I still would have liked some color options to truly make the guns feel like they’re “mine,” ya know?

Oh well, it’s not a big deal really. And hey, the Security versions of the Mossington and Kross SMG, which are my predicted favorite weapons, are already white, which is what I would have made them anyway.:cool:

Example: Can I choose between a green coloured Rhett Rifle and a Shark-face painted Rhett Rifle?
