I hope someone could answer that question for me or else I want to create a discussion about it, if a discussion of that sort hasn’t been created yet - So my question is, as you can imply from the title, will there ever be Skins for Melee Weapons?
|Weapon Skins for Melee Weapons|
I’ve wanted something like this for ages. Imagine Christmas sweater defibs.
Phantom’s obsidian had a melee skin. Minor, but a skin none the less. I was hoping that would be a turning point, but I guess not yet

or for ability weapons…
Really hate Nader’s poop skin launcher. I wish they would paint the ammo boxes on Fragger and Thunder’s mgs as well.
Makes sense, because you are running with your melee out most of the time, so you are looking at them a lot.
Also you have nothing else to do while running out of spawn besides looking at your knife.
weapon skin for turret, sticky bombs, mines and shield… awesome.
I’d like to have an invisible skin like what Phantom uses on his cloak

Or knife with little naked sparks.

Good point.

Well, at that specific point it could get rather problematic. Especially for Mines or Sticky Bombs; let’s assume for example you use a skin with a distinctive colour like red or yellow on your Mines with Proxy or Sticky Bombs with Fletcher, they could be recognized more easily by players, for which exactly the opposite is supposed to happen. It would therefore even impact the augment which marks the mines more visible (Bomb Squad), that’s not really the way it’s supposed to go - of course mostly you place mines behind corners or walls, eitherway that seems rather porblematic. But for turrets or shields (only the generator) it’d make a nice feature.
