How about a silencer which could be equipped like a trinklet (the point is, it affect all weapons, no need for special cards), that removes sound [and maybe hit direction like warface] and equipping reduces damage by 30% or maybe 40%. Silencer spams wont happen as you will be completely useless if you change your playstyle (and merc). A silenced sniper isn’t good neither is a silenced shotgun. As equipping weakens every weapon on every merc they have it wont be overused i.e will be balanced. I could use more creative ideas from the community though, “IF” they like the idea.

Trinkets are supposed to be cosmetics, not utility that would change the game.
Silencers have been scrapped, they were in game files but then @RazielWarmonic stated on stream that they are to be gone and there’s no place for such tactical aspect in a fast paced game like this
why would you want silencer? there is no point in adding silencers in video games, it just makes the blow more silent, not completely silent like in splinter cell or other “sneaky” game
The only place where this would be useful is on Execution and even then not so much because everyone sticks together so they’d notice if you picked off a teammate.

Just go play warface, you will notice why we can use silencers, warface is also a fast paced game. Not stating warface is better than dirty bomb btw.
like maybe you can go sneaky like you vs the whole team, take them out one by one without the rest knowing, i mean the defibrillator signs are gonna show up anyways to indicate that someone is killing your teammates, you just gotta find out where. Comon its gonna be fun.
I could imagine there could be a merc in the future with an ability to mute themselves and team mates. Could make for an interesting meta.
I don’t really know how you percieve speed, but dirty bomb can almost equal quake in terms of pacing.
You’d be amazed how fast this game can be when you’re playing against and/or watching the best players. (or just pepole that mastered long jumps)
iirc warface is just at CoD levels, i can be wrong, since i tried to play it in it’s early days.
The only addition i’d say would be viable for weapons would be switchable ironsights/scopes.
@PlatinumCLAW having a silencer could be useless with the recons cause they will spot you and it would be useless if you stay in team and dont flank
PS: i played warface and i didnt like it . the head shoot multiplicateur is too much and you cant get a permanant weapon without paying + in pvp medics reviver is useless maybe healing could be useful in ceratin place or for your self but reviving is just shity in pvp + warface is pretty boring according to dirty bomb personally in warface you just run throw bombs and slide and hope for the best to not fall in a engneer mine + i found a lot of hackers even if i didnt play alot in it
Welp, dirty bomb isn’t a super sneaky stilled game like R6S, in R6S almost everything can 1 shot you so the silencer was obligatory for you to not give info to the enemy, but in Dirty Bomb there are gunshots everywhere,explosions footsteps etc. So you really don’t need silencers on Dirty bomb (only if you want to go sneaky phantom)

For suppressors to work in DB, they couldn’t work in the traditional sense. The game’s sound is still unreliable, and a large portion of the playerbase doesn’t react to gunshots to begin with.
I thought of suppressed weapons giving the target unreliable damage indicators (the red smudges that give direction of damage) or something that could make them look the wrong way just for a moment. I’d like to see anything outside the box, though.
