That totally explains why I still got headshot, when I was peaking around the corner with my shielded gun.
Interesting, I assumed it would have been implemented as a percentage damage reduction

I understand better now why it’s not on heavy guns like gotlung… they are held so low that it would not help much.
I does deflect a good amount of bullets when standing right infront of the guy. The ugly part is, it is right there on the upper chest where you want to aim usually.
