Weapon sheild-heavy and bottom-Not a question.
Wow do any of you read? Not once did I complain about the content being free or ever having to pay for DLC, i’ve bought lots of DLC and will continue too. For the record though no game i’ve purchased before has released cut content as DLC within a release period that I have purchased, so your generalizing statement means nothing to me

Finally, didn’t realise pointing out that cut content being released as DLC within a month of release was a bad thing, stop crying.
Why do you say it’s cut content though? Just because you saw it in an early preview video?

Maybe the heavy weapons shield and bayonet weren’t balanced properly for day 1 release. Maybe they had some issues with the two new maps and hadn’t completed all of the AI pathing in each map yet? OR Maybe it was all good to go on day 1, but SD wanted to cover costs for developing that extra stuff.

Who knows? It doesnt matter, as it was probably always designed as DLC. Boo to SD for trying to make some profit on their hard work. And now, to please their few customers who had to deal with lag issues the first week or two, we get the DLC for free.

Oh you must have had all your issues sorted on what ever version your playing, thus why you don’t seem phased by content before fixes. I on the other hand am struggling to enjoy the PS3 version having already been through the 360 version which was some how worse.

My issues with the game answer why I know this is cut content, no company would release DLC so close to release before fixing the actual game. AI pathing? Why not fix the AI first before making new maps for them to run around on

Maybe it is cut content but who cares? If it’s a bayonet or a shield, it may not have been balanced right by the time the game shipped and they wanted to see how people played to get a good idea of how to balance things.

At the time of release, could they really have known the Carb-9 was OP and heavy weapons were ass?
To be honest, you should be thankful SD are continuing support of this game and not quit altogether when it’s released like many other devs.

Er yeh they should have to an extent really… you’d think one or two weapons would be more powerful, not whole weapon classes being awesome while another is kinda un-used.

Nice find. Also what is that rocket that is shot at the gotlung guy. I do not remember any of those rockets.
Back in the day, a shave and a haircut cost two bits. Bottom lines are bottom lines, usually dealing with profit margins and the sort.

There are people still playing Quake 2 and all with it’s mods. If that’s what you’re looking for, have at it. If you want to play Brink then you have to deal with what it is as a product. Don’t like? Don’t buy. Don’t play. But please feel free to come in here so we can help untangle that knot in your panties.

Not directed at you entirely, jazevec, just all whiners as a whole.
shave and a hair cut six bits, is how the tune goes but i do love how you made the analogy made me lawl.

beyond that i do think the DLC is cut content, only because on twitter SD said there was no plan of dlc in the near future and then blam 2 weeks later oh yeah were done but you will have to wait till june.

honestly i couldnt care, ill wait for dlc and play the crap outta it.

IEZZA!! nice eyes lookn out, but i do belive it could be a bayonet. think about it BRO! that sounds so mega ghetto i cant even explain how much awesome skills it would take to bayonet stab someone with a gotlung lago coach out!

(its al bout security) #28

umm if you see a pic of the jamacan guy he does a no handed cartwheel off a wall, freeze frame the heavy shot a freaking rocket!! he dodges a FREAKIN ROCKET

(its al bout security) #29

oops didnt know i was being ignorant i thought someone deleted my comments but didnt see page 2

(FrankieGodskin) #30

The real test will be the size of the DLC. IIRC, if it’s only 108kb, that means we’re just downloading a key to unlock what’s already on the disc.

(Herandar) #31

The cinematic trailer does not depict (nor attempt to depict) actual gameplay.

Actually, I think the “two bits” is a bit more common:

He doesn’t. It’s a grenade fired by the lobster. It’s not propelled in any way.
