Weapon and gadget balance!

1: Medic Aura needs to have at least 4 full clips as it can take up to a whole clip to drop one enemy and relying on friendlies has mixed results in pub matches.
2: Laser with Kira needs a brighter more noticeable start up and a smaller splash radius, you should have to actually land it on people to kill them.
3: Sniper damage needs a buff to at least 1 shot drop Aura medics no matter what, its slow enough to be buffed.
4: Grenade launcher for Fragger needs complete removal, its over powered and there really isn’t anything you could do to balance it out.
5: Aura health stations are over powered and should go the way of Battlefield 4 where after you take damage it takes at least 3 seconds to start recovering health as it is right now 1 medic can stand on their health station and kill an entire team if they aren’t focus firing them.

That’s all i can think of right now but if anyone has things to add or modify lets discuss it ya’ll!

  1. Aim for the head. That should take care of your damage problem.
    EDIT: Wait, seriously? An entire shotgun clip to take out one guy? Unless you’re using the Blishlok, work on your aim. Also, headshots.
  2. Kira’s targeting laser probably needs to be more noticeable, but the splash is fine as it is. The laser is quite easy to avoid, if you know what you’re doing.
  3. Headshots. Only the FEL-IX needs a damage buff in my opinion.
  4. I believe you mean Nader’s launcher. It might need a small fire rate nerf though, not total removal. It is Nader’s signature ability though.
  5. I agree. Health regen needs to stop or be decreased when somebody takes damage while they’re in it.

I agree mostly, but Aura’s shotgun still has too little ammo, its only 3 clips total.

And the rifle damage should be at least enough to 1 tap the lower health classes since they move the fastest and are harder to hit. Good points though.

Also i think they should change it to like a single shot thumper style launcher then and just give it a large blast radius and the potential to one shot. It’s too easy to just spam out nades and clear areas without ever having to show yourself

1-Aura is OP enough, she does NOT take a full cylinder to kill an enemy, the low ammo is to prevent Aura players from being unstoppable rambos.
2- I agree. The AOE on the orbital is pretty ridiculous. Most times with lasers I can’t even tell if it’s Arty or Kira charging up.
3- I think there’s a sniper that does 80 damage, but I am probably wrong.
4-Fragger’s GL shouldn’t be removed, but should get some sort of nerf. Maybe slower cooldown? Less grenade cap? She’s an annoying, overpowered Fragger in that regard.
5- Very good idea.

  1. Are we talking about shotguns or blishlok ? either way both don’t need a full clip to drop an enemy. For shotties get closer and they will drop anybody in 1-2 shots. For blishlok aim for the head it will take out any merc in 4-6 shots.
    This is a teambased game and you have to relay on your teammates for constant ammosupply thats by design. However dropping ammo at spawntime will give everyone in your team an aditional magazine, so tell the skyhammers to do that. Every map has a couple of ammoboxes that you can use for a refill. If non of those options are avaible conserve ammo.

  2. Arty marker a single merc height stationary laserbeam - Kira marker 3 long laserbeams that slowly converge to a single position. If you see either of them (or a horizontal red line on the ground) get out of there. Imo the AOE of her laser is fine aiming is often times less than precise and she needs the AOE to compensate.

  3. all snipers will oneshot Aura on headshot. I agree with the majority that the Fel-ix should oneshot aura on bodyshot to give that gun a reason to exist besides the MOA

  4. Nope (see the specific treads about Nader for the why I think that way)

  5. Another nope Healingstations are not OP. 3 sec before healing starts would be a extrem nerf for all medics. If you are trying to focusfire a Aura down on the healingstation (which does work given strong/fastfiring weapons and a good Aim) you are doing it wrong. Aim for the Healingstation first and than deal with Aura (or use AOE weapons and deal with both at the same time).
