Weapon ADS sensativity

So I was going through some settings, after not looking at them for quite a while, and I noticed the scope sensitivity scale. I don’t play mercs like Vassili or Redeye so I’ve never touched that setting before, but lately I’ve been playing a lot of Phantom and I noticed that it affects your sensitivity when using heavy melee attacks. Why would it do this? I understand that it’s the same button as ADS (which is mouse button 5 for me >.>), but is there any reason why you’d want lower sensitivity for heavy melee?

Right now, I’m setting it to 1 when I play Phantom, but switching it back to a reasonable setting for any merc that I use ADS with, which messes with their heavy melee attacks. There needs to be a separate option for heavy melee sensitivity instead of lumping it all into one.

They fucked with heavy melee attacks a while back as a bandaid fix to beyblading phantoms. Really anoying change but i doubt SD will change anything.

just dont use heavy melee ever, only makes sense if you can oneshot an opponent

Well in most cases, I can 1 shot someone as Phantom. 103.5 damage i believe, with the chopper augment. If an enemy is weakened, it helps to finish them off. I need 2 heavy melees to kill Fragger, Thunder, and Rhino, the rest can either be 1 heavy or 2 light. Either way, heavy is the way to go. That’s what makes this so infuriating. SD really needs to improve on their customization.
