We need a Brink demo

Seriously, we need a Brink demo. This game got so many bad reviews, and that is why some people didn’t buy it. If this game is really that good then make a demo and show everyone how good this game really is. And I hope that SP and Bethesda learned one thing, a beta is necessary. Look what happened, that graphics on the 360 sucks and there is lag. Also what’s up with the ‘‘no lobby’’?

Son, I am disappointed.

What kind of demo? If its multiplayer, then it wouldn’t be a demo, but a beta. Also, betas do not help improve anything. Games like BC2 and TF2 had betas, and were they perfect on release date? I think not. The era of perfect release games is over. Has been over for many years now. Not a single game will ever come out without issues no matter how much you beta test it.

If there is problems with the game let SD work their magic to fix it they don’t have time to waste on a demo now.

It’s too late for a beta. We need a demo. Many people will not buy Brink because of the bad reviews. Make a demo and show us if the game is good or if it’s like the reviews said.

@ At the gates. A multi-player demo and a beta are not the same.

This game is amazing. If they make a demo, they’ll get more sales.

This, they will also be able to show us if the game is good or not.

Every game developer in the world would probably disagree with this statement. Not all beta-tests are public, but all software goes through beta testing. It’s part of the process.

What people are saying here is that they should have released a public beta, and that would have brought to the forefront all these issues that people are talking about now at actual launch. Would the game be perfect? Of course not. Even heavily publicly tested games like Halo and Gears have launch issues - but releasing the beta to the masses lets the dev know what the public will dislike and what wont bother them too much.

Don’t know about the demo, but they’ll get more sales if they make a Port for Linux! :penguin:

Linux isn’t for playing video games. Make a dual boot with Windows.

yes it is, it’s also for running all the game servers
